Illusions

I know that the world is a lie,

Made up by my mind to deceive me.

I wish this illusion would die

'Cause right now I can barely see.

That wish, however, seems foolish,

Whoever would just leave their dream?

I feel like explaining my wish,

I might even have to scream.

I can hardly hold back my emotions,

when they are so overwhelming;

My thoughts are like bottomless oceans,

Dragging me down, still compelling.

I am trapped in a world of illusion,

Held down forever in confusion.
